Finding the perfect size
Design matters. Comfort does too.
A perfectly fitted ring should feel secure enough to stay in place, yet smooth enough to slide over the knuckle without resistance. It should feel natural on your hand, every day.
Before choosing your size, it is important to understand one essential thing: our fingers are not the same size all the time. Daily life has an impact on our hands. During flights, workouts or physical effort, hot summer days, early mornings, or during maternity, fingers can naturally swell. On the contrary, cold temperatures, wintertime, or cold water tend to make fingers slightly smaller. These variations are completely normal and can represent up to half a size difference.
This is why choosing your ring size with intention makes all the difference.
HOW TO FIND YOUR RING SIZE BEFORE ORDERING
1. Professional sizing (recommended)
The most reliable option is to have your finger measured by a local jeweler. This is the safest and most precise method. Make sure you are told which sizing system is used (European, US or UK), as they are
all different.
Keep in mind that the width and thickness of the ring influence the fit. Wider bands often feel tighter and may require a slightly larger size.
2. Measuring an existing ring
If you already own a ring that fits perfectly on the finger you are ordering for:
- Use a ring sizer to measure its inside diameter
- Or have it measured by a jeweler for maximum accuracy
This method is very reliable when done properly.
3. Plastic ring sizers & at-home methods (use with caution)
Plastic ring sizers can be helpful, but they are less precise. They tend to move on the finger, and not all models are standardized.
Although many tricks exist online, measuring your ring size at home using paper strips, string, or printable charts is not really recommended. Pressure, finger position, temperature, and timing can easily affect the result.
For these reasons, these methods should only be used as a general or rough indication, not as a precise measurement.
Still hesitating?
If you are unsure between two sizes, our recommendation is to choose the slightly larger one, especially for everyday rings.
For engagement rings in particular, and based on our experience, most women tend to fall within a size 52 to 54. This corresponds approximately to M–N in UK sizing or 6–7 in US sizing, and can be a helpful reference when choosing discreetly or planning a surprise.
Good news: with the exception of full eternity rings, the vast majority of rings can be resized by any local jeweler.
We can also provide a temporary ring size reducer, allowing you to wear your ring immediately while deciding whether a permanent resize is needed.
If you ever hesitate, our team is always here to guide you.
